Julian Tynan (formerly Tuna); writer, director, (reformed) fish.
Growing up in the bottom-right corner of Australia, he photographed his early life on a goat farm. Visually striking, an obsession for the unusual and an unassuming human insight.
His films, including Widowers (Palm Springs, Vancouver, Flickerfest +) have screened at festivals internationally, as well as features on Nowness, Rolling Stone, The Shiny List and many more.
He is developing a handful of longform projects and works across narrative and commercial formats.
Julian is based in Naarm and his mum is very proud of him.
